If you are an individual on the autism spectrum who is either transitioning into employment, currently job-seeking, or looking to change careers, we can assist you in understanding your strengths and exploring suitable career options for you. NexGenCounselling offers an autism-specific vocational assessment that identifies strengths and areas of development to assist with job matching and identifying suitable workplace support strategies.
The vocational assessment can either be requested as a one-off assessment or alternatively if you are accessing the Employment Mentoring program, the assessment will be conducted as part of the initial consultation for this program.

Our Vocational Assessments are offered in Queensland as well as via Zoom or phone. We can meet either at our office or in quiet public locations such as libraries or cafes. Arrangements are made to suit participants’ needs.
For current employees or their employers
NexGenCounselling offers specialist workplace assessments to current employees on the autism spectrum. Workplace assessments are conducted by our experienced autism specialists who will work with the employee and manager to:
Review the employee’s work site to perform a job analysis of role and environment to plan job and culture fit
Assess the employee's inherent requirements and KPIs
Provision of a written report of recommendations for support and adjustments
